Too hot to ride

Well it's too hot to ride so time to do some work on the bike.
I will be moving some of the items on the dash, re doing the aux wiring harness and adding a power commander V,with the auto tune O2 kit and the LCD display in the dash.
I know, like I need more things on my bike.
As I go along I will blogg my way thru.
Prior to the GBU rally I installed a set of D&D slip on's and a K&N air filter. My fuel mileage went from an average of 38 mpg to 43 mpg this was figured on my entire 5670 mile ride!
Nice increase for little cash and just a few hours work.
I am excited to see what happens with the power commander installed. With the LCD option I will be able to switch fuel map settings on the fly. I hope to pick up a few more MPG at cruise speed and switch it over to power when I am in the twists.

MERA Tattoo

I Can't help myself Steve offered up Free entry for a MERA Tat. I grabbed My 2011 rally Flag and Took Off for Epic Tattoo. It is only 3 miles from the house , I love the MERA No BS just Ride Logo so why not have it put on for "EVER" Rudy was  waiting when I showed up and ready to help me. Less than one hour later I was home with my new TAT . Reno John asked For pics of hot chicks at the studio while I was getting it done. Sorry RJ it was 8:30 pm on Thursday evening. No Hot Chicks!!!! What Can I  say they Must have been at Starbucks!! Any way it is done and I love it ? My Wife even likes it ( she knows how crazy I can be). Cant wait To show it off at the GBU in a couple of weeks.  Rudy Will be Inking my Scars from my Prudhoe Bay crash in the next few days also. I will post those then

Headed to Utah

Well have the bike loaded and ready to do the MERA, Utah-1088 three day rally.
We will be trailering the bike to Utah via Denver Colorado. We will spend a few days here to help my best friend Bobby P. Celebrate his 50th birthday. We are planning to spend the day Friday smoking some meat and relaxing. On Sunday ( his actual birthday ) we are heading up to Rocky Mountain National Park. Then riding to Mount. Evans ( the highest drivable road in the US ) I road up there last during the SPANK rally the wind was blowing 80 mph at the peak overlook . I hope I can get some better pictures up there this time. Well more tomorrow Maby a few pictures.

MD 2020 rally -7 days

Well it's Saturday morning one week prior to the Mason Dixon 2020,2011
I have my tentative rout planed,the bike is ready, I have read the rules and updates about a billion times . I am relaxing at Starbucks with a nice cup of coffee. Life is good!
